A uniquely British Slate Cheeseboard

We select the finest Westmorland Sea Green slate, with it's uniquely beautiful colour and texture and craft each piece by hand. No two Afters Cheeseboards are the same.

We only use British quarried stone, specifically Westmorland sea green. It’s all part of our attempt to keep our eco footprint as small as possible. Hydro electric power from the beck running by the workshops provide the power and the polishers and cutters are cooled using that same beck water.

We do not use imported slate for 2 reasons,

1. It’s been transported halfway around the world
2. It’s not as good – on so many levels.

Each Afters Cheeseboard measures 300mm x 200mm.

All our Afters Cheeseboards are coated with a food safe product. All our boards have rubber feet on the underside to prevent damage to table tops.

Care: slate products should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
